Fulfilling Its Destiny

I’m grateful to have the urge to travel and the drive to follow through. From sea to shining sea—including the wilds of Alaska and the shores of Hawaii—the United States is a stunning place to discover. I’m racking up the miles and documenting the journey as I go. This summer, I’m finally checking the Great Sand Dunes off the list. Sand dunes in Colorado? I was surprised to learn they existed, too.

I found this cluster of flags waving in the wind and captured the moment knowing it would one day fulfill its destiny. On the 250th anniversary of our founding, that day has arrived.
