Skyline in Motion

I can remember when there wasn’t a building behind the Pepsi sign in Long Island City. Most of my time in NYC I rented in Astoria, a pocket of eastern European excellence in Queens. The subway ran above ground there, so I watched the city transform from that vantage point for the decade I lived in it.

Changing cities is a theme in my life — the cities themselves shifting, and me shifting with them. I stay curious, and I like to explore.

Cities change, and so do we — the trick is keeping up with both.
