Branson Juxtaposition

It’s sort of like looking into a giant Jenga set; pull one stick out and the whole thing might collapse. Fortunately, this appears to be a strong bond between timber and steel. I’m a fan of lighthouses, so I climbed to the top for a peek.

Located in Branson, Missouri, there was no body of water or coastline nearby, so me thinks this resort was playing us for fools. Or perhaps that’s as close to the beach as some Midwesterners will get.

Who knew the heartland had its own landlocked lighthouse lore.
