The Bear Mountain Bridge came to signify a new chapter in my life and a new approach forward. I would have countless experiences with the bridge as I lived only a few miles from it and enjoyed photographing her in all seasons from different elevations. Steel, concrete, and tension keeping it all together.
The Hudson River flows underneath, and nearby Anthony’s Nose, Bear Mountain, and Torne Mountain all offer stunning views of the lower Hudson Valley. It’s an enchanted place to live in any season.
Sometimes a little tension is exactly what you need to hold a new chapter together.
