The Northeast Knows How to Halloween

Halloween is my favorite holiday season. Sorry, not sorry, Kris Kringle. It was easy to fall deeply into it when I lived in New York — first NYC, then the Hudson Valley. I also led the Great Jack O’Lantern Blaze and worked in Sleepy Hollow for multiple seasons. In Cold Spring, the whole community would close the streets and go all‑in decorating their houses. Again, easy to fall deeply into the vibe.

Denver, where I now reside, is impressive too. Did you know holiday lights got their start here? I’m not leading you on. D.D. Sturgeon is the dude. More on that in another post.
