Where The Lights Are Bright, Downtown

Here we are again in DFW, this time in downtown Dallas standing on the Grassy Knoll. I didn’t do it. I have stayed overnight in that hotel, but I’ve still never been up into the revolving ball of Reunion Tower. It does look great lit up at night.

It wasn’t until my 30s that I learned Dallas and Houston are rivals — Dallas once seen as the polished northern retreat, Houston the agricultural, manure‑scented workhorse.

Wild, right?
